Marie-Athena is an international environmental and energy lawyer and non-practicing Barrister, based in Switzerland, UK and Greece.
Educated in France and the UK, she holds a Doctorate degree in International Comparative Law from the University of Paris II Sorbonne as well as a LL.M and JD in International Environmental Law and Policy from the London School of Economics.
She has strong experience as Counsel in Shipping, Infrastructure and Clean Energy in the UK, Europe and Greece. She has gained significant experience and expertise in renewable energy as General Counsel EMEA for a major global Energy corporation and has also developed solar and waste management projects across Europe.
Currently working in the development of energy sustainability solutions, Marie-Athena combines her knowledge and interests in Environmental Sustainability and Energy Prosperity with originating and progressing Clean Tech Ventures focused on accelerating the energy transition and advancing decarbonization.
